Ms. Bender has 29 years' experience in the employment law field. She has represented a diverse base of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and school districts, as well as individuals who have been discriminated against or have been wrongfully terminated. Working with both employers and employees gives Ms. Bender a unique perspective on employment-related issues, and enables her to tailor solutions for each client she services.

- Counseling employers on handling problem employees;
- Representing School Districts on employment-related matters;
- Working with Employers to assure compliance with personnel-related laws involving the Texas Workforce Commission, the EEOC, the Department of Labor and other municipal, county, state and federal agencies;
- Preparing employee handbooks, employment agreements and noncompetition agreements;
- Defending suits by employees, unemployment compensation claims; and,
- Handling investigations of personnel matters.
For Employees --
- Negotiating executive severance packages (Director level and above); and,
- Counseling employees on work-related issues.
Because job security and employment decisions are among the most important issues facing individuals, Ms. Bender does charge an initial consultation fee. Contingency cases are accepted on a limited basis only after the initial consultation process is completed.
